VDM’s commitment to embed sustainability across all business sectors is in line with the 2015 changes to the International Standards;
1. ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management Systems,
2. ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems.
Using the Continual Improvement model, VDM uses these systems to drive change in the Business direction, planning and implementation. Constantly reviewing the market for improved sustainable products and methodologies of construction and product Supply.
VDM influences suppliers by requiring sustainability programs in manufacture and in the supply chain.
VDM engages all employees in sustainability programs.
Quality and Quality control is embed across all business sectors and is in line with the 2015 changes to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems. This is includes the additions to the standard of “context of the organisation” and “risk based approach”.
VDM has adapted to the change in the market with the decline of Resources Construction, by maintaining it Construction division and adding Mining division.
By embedding Quality in both divisions VDM is able to provide better products and services, continually improve and satisfy customers.
